The biggest obstacle we encountered when starting out, which is still a problem today, was the lack of schools and manufacturing techniques for this type of product. Because of the limited educational resources available, most small workrooms around the world (the foundation of this industry) are also faced with the difficulties associated with manufacturing this product. Fabric shades require highly skilled operators, and are more labor intensive than conventional draperies. As opposed to other window treatments in the marketplace, shades and valances are made with materials provided by our customers, in an almost endless variety of widths, textures, and patterns.   Our dedication to excellence has motivated us to develop our own manufacturing techniques, improving them each day, and learning with each new trend and each difficulty we encounter. 

We keep striving to improve, and we are certain that the industry will benefit from our experience. On this website, you will find the first Flat Roman Shade order processor in the market, just one example of the kind of innovations we would like to contribute to the industry.  This tool allows you to calculate in less than a minute yardage and labor costs for any type of window treatment, regardless of size, window shape or fabric specifications.  We truly hope this tool will be useful to all industry sectors, including workrooms, specifiers, decorators, fabric stores, window treatment professionals, installers, and anyone involved in this fascinating industry. We will gradually be adding new order processors for the different styles of shades and valances in the market.
